UAT
The acknowledgement reference issued when a form, return or document is filed on the MCA portal.
A Unique Application Number (UAT) is generated by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs filing system each time a form, return or document is submitted for a company or LLP. It uniquely identifies that filing so the applicant can track processing status and match the related service request or acknowledgement, which is useful for confirming whether a submission has been accepted or requires resubmission.
Examples
After filing an annual return on the MCA portal, the team records the UAT to follow up on the form’s status.
