Annual General Meeting — a yearly meeting of a company's shareholders required under Section 96 of the Companies Act, 2013.
The collective body of elected or appointed directors legally responsible for managing the affairs of a company.
Free additional shares issued to existing shareholders in proportion to their existing holdings, capitalised from the company's reserves.
Extraordinary General Meeting — any general meeting of shareholders other than the AGM, convened to discuss urgent or special business.
Employee Stock Option Plan — a scheme allowing employees to purchase shares of the company at a pre-determined price within a specified period.
A non-executive director of a company who has no material relationship with the company and is not part of the promoter group, as defined under Section 149(6) of the Companies Act, 2013.
Limited Liability Partnership — a hybrid entity combining the benefits of a company (limited liability) and a partnership (flexible governance), governed by the LLP Act, 2008.
